Sample Itinerary:
April 23rd
Arrival to Istanbul. After check-in, guests proceed to their rooms for time at leisure.
Overnight in Istanbul.
April 24th
Check-out from to Hotel. Halfday morning Istanbul tour including visits to Topkapi Palace and Underground Cistern Lunch at Yesil Ev. Departure by luxury coach for Gallipoli. En-route comfort stops made.
Dinner at the Maydos Restuarant, on the shores of the Dardanelles, Gallipoli On arrival at the Gallipoli site, your guide will assist guests to secure seating in the stands if possible in the area designated for the Dawn Service ceremony. The guide will remain with the guests through the nite.
Note Please note, that once the coach drop us off at the check-in point for the walk to the site, the coaches will leave the site and will come back on the following day around 01:00 pm.
April 25th
5.00 am Today will have a very special place in the heart and minds of all Australians & New Zealanders, with the privelige of participating in the Dawn Service at Gallipoli.6.15 am Following the Dawn Service, guests will each receive a breakfast box.
At the conclusion of breakfast, Tekser guide will lead guests on the walk on the following tour. The order of the tour will be as follows :
Visit Ari Burnu Cemetery
Visit Anzac Cove
Visit Beach Cemetery and John Simpson Kirkpatricks grave (The Man with the Donkey)
Following a short time here, guests will then proceed on foot to Shrapnel Valley Cemetery (approx 2kms).
From here, guests will walk up to Plugges Plateau for an overview of the landing beaches and join the Australian Service at the Lone Pine
12:00 Coaches depart Gallipoli for the return journey to Istanbul, stopping en-route for lunch and a comfort stop.
6.00 pm Approximate arrival in Istanbul.
Upon arrival in Istanbul, drive to hotel for overnight.
