Day 1
Arrival to Istanbul. Meet with our guide at the airport and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 2
After breakfast, full day devoted to visit the city, visit to the Haghia Sophia “the glory of the Byzantine Empire, the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome. Roman church of the Monastery of San Salvador in Chora, famous for its Byzantine mosaics, representing the life of the Virgin Mary. Lunch in a typical Turkish restaurant. The afternoon visit to Topkapi Palace.
Overnight in Istanbul
Day 3
Following breakfast, departure for ancient Nicea (Iznik), a city with a prestigious past and still has many Byzantine and Ottoman monuments. Capital of Bithynia, to the foundation of Nicomedia (Izmit), Nicea is famous for having welcomed the ecumenical Consus, who were sentenced to monasticismo. Visit the church of Santa Sofia. Lunch in a restaurant and continue to Bursa, the capital of the Ottoman Empire. Visit the Great Mosque, the Green Mosque, Green Mausoleum. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4
Coffee, followed by the exit for Alexandria Troy, which St. Paul visited at least twice. First when he and St. Timothy wanted to go to Bithynia, but were prevented by the Holy Spirit (Acts 16:8). Continue to Assos, which St. Paul wanted to make the trip from Alexandria to Troy in his third journey (Acts 20:13-14). Departure to Pergamum. Arrival, lunch and visit the Temple of Athena, Altar of Zeus, Temple of Dionysos, Odeon, Library of Aesclepion, which was the therapy center, but the renowned and ancient Acropolis. Day 5
Following breakfast, departure to Ephesus ancient Ionian city, later Roman capital of Asia Minor. Arrival and visit of the city, the Roman theater, Roman baths, library Celsus, Hadrian Temple, Gymnasium Gymnasium etc … St. John was in Ephesus with the Virgin Mary, whose care had entrusted Jesus Christ. St. Paul came to Ephesus in the year 53 and has been teaching for two years (Acts 19:10), in which he promised in his last voyage: “I will return to you again, God willing.” (Acts 18:21). Lunch in Selcuk further visit to the House of Virgin Mary.
Day 6
Arrival and visit the ruins. Lunch in a restaurant. Departure to visit Colosseo, which St. Paul never was, but sent a letter: “To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse that Peace and Grace be with you from God our Father” (Colossians 1: 2). Continue to Pamukkale, the center’s work Epaphras (Colas 4:13). Arrival and visit the ruins of the ancient city Hierapolis, whose name means holy city by the presence of several basilicas cristianas. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Pamukkale.
Day 7
Breakfast and early departure to Konya. It was visited by St. Paul several times where St. Paul and Barnabas was stoned (Acts 14:5) Arrival and visit St. Paul’s Church, the Mausoleum of Mavlana, an Islamic mystic who preaches tolerance, forgiveness and his poetry, managing to get the heart of Ince minaret. Lunch in Konya and continue to Cappadocia. Arrival and a sightseeing tour in the region. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8
Breakfast followed by visit of the region, the valleys of Goreme and Zelve with its cave churches: Church of Santa Barbara, Dark church, Church of the Serpent, the church Sandili. The underground city of Derinkuyu and Kaymakli, the people of Avanos, Pasabag, Uchisar, craft centers, with the possibility of shopping. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9
Breakfast followed by the exit of dawn to Tarsus, birthplace of St. Paulo.Chegada to Tarsus and visit the Landing in Sao Paulo and the port of Cleopatra. Lunch Tarzo and continued to Adana. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Adana.
Day 10
Breakfast and departure to Antakya (Antioch); The city was on the Peter, Paul and Barnabas began their trips from the outside world evangelism (Acts 11:26) In this region visit the grave of St. Peter, the mosaic museum Antkaya ( collection is the most complete and impressive art of the Near East and possibly the world). Pickups at the airport to board flight to Istanbul. Arrival and transfer to hotel.
